One of the comments made in that video is that the FT-DX10's A/D is "audio grade" as opposed to the "much more expensive A/D" in the 710. I'm still puzzled over the advantage of one technology over the other. The DX10 seems to be the better radio now, but perhaps a firmware update in the 710 could really make it awesome.
